I come to think about what goes on the minds of young people when they connect to the net, especially thru the internet cafes. They’re sensation-driven users. The first 20 minutes, they probably hang around their yahoomail or hotmail or other email account to check new incomings. Even if they know already that there wouldn’t be any reply since they haven’t send any, they would still hope there will be surprises there. Well, they’re right, surprises do wait them there. Spams. ^^
Parallel with the routines of deleting spams, they also open MSN, YM, ICQ, or mIRC just for the sake of interaction, since they don’t get it much from email. Chitchat here and there, flirting with luring nicks such as bobby4u, ayu-18, cool^Mike, ce_hot_jkt etc, until the sensation this first set of period ends or at least trimmed. (more…)

Exclusive coverage. 2kG is under sudden attack. Saturday morning, 10.55 am, vichristine called me about the terror, just right after confirming the same message that she got firstly from blue. Quickly logged to telkomnet, I found the hacker’s fingerprints “Oh yes… fuck me… oh!” proudly-placed along with BSD logo in the web’s frontpage.
“This is kewl!” I jumped to my surprise. Never before I have in mind that people would ever get reasons to hack the web. The content is just simple with no politically or religiously (since it is a christian web) offensive material to anyone. The forum, well, I don’t see why christians or even non-christians would triggered that much to spoil them either.
I connected to MSN then and instantly my monitor got flooded with some panicky 2kGers messaging me. They asked this and that, suggested here and there, and also screamed their deepest concern about the web visitors. That was natural, I thought, but I wasn’t joining in the crowd. I was still as calm as 10 minutes before, and remarked, “Awesome!” , “Way the go!” , “Yay!” to each chat windows. XD
After a few tries of Invalid Login to the web protocol, I also found out that the hacker had changed the pass. “I couldn’t find other directories,” said Kent on the phone. This can only means that whole directory tree is deleted too. Major destruction! This hacker guy must carry deep black venomous hurt from the either the site or the site’s owner. Despite of the mess, I was enjoying the rushed adrenaline in my veins and pounding heartbeats.
Minutes after, vv, who just got logged to the web, alarmed me, “Oh my God, pake bokep segala…” “Porn? I don’t remember seeing porn there!” I refreshed the screen, and voila!, gay porn appeared there on its glaring and glorified stature. :p “Why does it have to be gay stuff? Lousy taste…” I remember myself replying that to vv. LOL
The hacker also updated another text to it, flaming about the site’s founder. What I can confirm so far is that while the hacker might have revealed true proposition (such as the emails etc), he has related it with unqualified and debatable conclusion. So he’s basically like shouting, “There is no God!” just because he sees no proof of God’s existence. No information from him can be taken seriously. Besides, who’s he that we should believe to what he have to say.
Ryonn speculated that the web was hacked at 9 am, because earlier than that he was still chatting with a_littlewing about forum. Other information such as IP address and the logging list etcetera are securely gathered now to define next appropriate actions. 2kG is shut down until further notice. So 2kGers, we’re in Dark Ages now. Keep your fingers crossed.
Beware of the gremlins. Hahahaha…

At times life is wicked and I just can’t see the light. A silver lining sometimes isn’t enough to make some wrongs seem right. At times life’s unfair and you know it’s plain to see. Hey God I know I’m just a dot in this world, have You forgot about me?
Whatever life brings, I’ve been through everything, and now I’m on my knees again. But I know I must go on. Although I hurt I must be strong, because inside I know that many feel this way. Children don’t stop dancing. Believe you can fly away. Away.
Am I hiding in the shadows? Forget the pain and forget the sorrows. Children don’t stop dancing. Believe you can fly away… away.
Those are Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti’s words (of Creed). My words, well, is just the same, speaking from my personal experience in these days: don’t give up yet. Just because you can’t see the stars, it doesn’t mean that they are not up there. Strive a little bit more, my friend, even if you don’t know what else to do, keep believing that something will happen today. Never tire of doing what is right.

This past week was mentally strenuous. I had to make up tough decisions, juggling ethics and jaw breaking attitudes, just so that I might come with the most relevant answer to the tight situations I’m facing. A freestyle that had just pop up in my mind:
my boiling screamo rage
wages the whole page
whenever you rise to the stage
ye asking for fist
then fist you’ll get, ye nihilist
my gist in your mist
dismissed not, I insist
yes this is my creed
to the seed I’ve lit
to the skit we’ve spilt
to the weed you’ve breed
I’ll fight yeah I’ll bleed
with heaps of wit
while hoping indeed
for God’s speed
On a brighter note, thanks for the call again, Slim. ^^ It was more than two freaking hours (!) and now this poor hungry and cold fellow is wasted to think how he can ever repay you… :p But I think I got a whole life time to work it out with you, eh? *wink wink*

I’m still on that Dvorak piece on blogging stuff, so I go over a lot of writings concerning blog life. Quite surprised to find a good and thorough essay, cos it’s long enough!, by Tom Coates. Here’s just a part of it:
“The weblog is the homepage that we wear. And this is the big leap forward - this is where the value of weblogs lies in the newly amateurised world. This flexibility of publishing creates a fluid and living form of self-representation, the ‘homepage (as a place)’ has become the ‘weblog (as a person)’ that can articulate a voice. And when there are a multiplicity of voices in space, then the possibility arises of conversations. And where there is conversation there is the sharing of information. And conversation about what? Well everything from music and movies and animation and medical information. Weblogs are becoming the bridge between the individual and the community in cyberspace - a place where one can self-publicise and self-describe but also learn, debate and engage in community.”
Homepage that we wear! Oh my, that’s the most descriptive, as well as cool, meaning of a weblog. Couldn’t agree more. I still remember more than 7 years ago, the pleasant pride when I finally finished my first homepage. It was just a two-pages web, the welcome page along with guestbook link and then another page for description about me, but I felt like a cool hyped guy who just got accepted at MIT… Hahaha. I said to myself, “Web world, behold the genius brain is coming to town!” LOL But then the technology changed. Static homepage became so obsolete. Suddenly it’s not fun anymore to keep on changing the web content manually, dealing with the frustating html. Personal web couldn’t catch up anymore with the person who made it.
We want a world where we don’t have to ask for help or permission to write out loud. And God said, “Let there be blog!” XD The most important and challanging invention of the century. Now we have Blogger, Live Journal, Ujournal, Movable Type, Xanga, B2, etc to convert our real life to the matrix world of streaming data. “Anybody out there?” Neo typed. Yes, you’re not alone, very far from it. Dvorak throws the number of 3 millions bloggers out there, ranting about anything they could possibly think of. This is so kool.
Here are other materials on bloglife which I found quite interesting too: Blogs: There Is No Spoon by Edward Champion and Weblogs and the Mass Amateurization of Publishing by Clay Shirky.

Mood: daredevil
Listening: vv.mp3 (^^)
Powerups: Let the high praises of God be in my mouth, and a two-edged sword in my hand.
You are not born as losers. Those times when you feel so helpless, so conditioned to fail, so confused with unworthy options, you are actually standing in the very edge of your success. The closer people get to their destination, the more sensitive their soul will become. Enthusiasm levels up. Adrenaline boils. Expectation streams, as heavy as it can be. People say “You’re the man!” when watching you at work. But sadly, your other consciousness is awakened too. Doubt steps inside. Anxiety rises. Fatigue fades in. The more you try to cope and deny those feeling, the more you feel embraced by them all.
Never forget where you’re standing now: only centimeters away from the finish line! You just don’t have time to pause and do positive talk about yourself, refuting your pessimistic side. Instead, just say, “Hi negative-me. Talk to you later, okay?” and go start your engine again. Lady Victory is reaching for you ahead, just step forward and grab her love.
Hmmm, I’m talking to myself there. If you can relate, well that’s cool. In the middle of tight schedules and frictions here, I need more and more quiet times everyday. In addition, I also have some friends who never turns their back whenever the road is so slippery. Thanks, God. Thanks, God. Thanks, God.
