Another silly rant of unimportant issues. This time triggered by tyup. ^^

Basi deh. Ga tau kenapa, tapi gue ngerasa merinding banget kalo ngeliat kata-kata closure greeting waktu ngobrol lewat SMS. Contoh nih.
Britney Spears: Get real man! She’ll only want to go out with guys with convertible!
True-Gossiper: You think so? I mean, I won’t stand a chance at all?
Britney Spears: Definitely, but it’s not that you’re bad or something. Money, that’s all she’s aftering. Listen man, mom’s yelling downstairs, gotta go now. GBU.
Fred Durst: Just switch the battery position. If the green light’s still on, switch it again.
True-Gossiper: I just did that.
Fred Durst: Re-plug the video cable.. it must have conflicted the current.
True-Gossiper: Okay.. .. .. Hey, it worked! Thanks, man!

Contoh di atas emang lebih bernada telepon lisan daripada textual SMS, tapi di dialog real time seperti itu pun gue ngerasa ngga sreg kalo denger ada closure gitu, apalagi kalo lagi ngobrol pake SMS?! Apa cuman gue doang ya yang ngerasa gini?
Maksud gue, kalo emang udah selesei topik pembicaraan, ya udah, abis aja. Jangan dikasih frase penutup gitu. Yah mungkin gue ga bakalan nyolot banget seandainya denger hal begituan dari partner SMS yang lebih tua usianya –yang rata-rata bergaya sopan-, tapi kan temen gue orang muda semua!?! Ini bukan soal sopan atau ramah dsb, tapi soal kok kayaknya ga asyik banget sih ngeliat anak muda ngasih closures yang begituan.
Jadi PLEASE jangan pake kata-kata sejenis itu ya, termasuk ‘Bye’, kalo lagi SMS gue..
