Bulan-bulan belakangan ini kerjaan gue cuman ngabisin duit doang. Mending kalo gue banyak duit. Pas-pas’an begini, tapi nafsu buat jalan-jalannya gede banget. Mengerikan. So I’m desperate for a job now. Not very desperate tho, considering I don’t do any job hunting on karir.com, jobsdb.com, or any other net-based vacancy search agency.
Gue ngerasa bukan tipe orang yang look for jobs, instead the job’s looking for me. Semenjak kuliah dulu, gue selalu dapet kerjaan ini itu when I was not looking for it. Ada aja orang yang nawarin sumthing to do. Mulai dari private English tutor, translator/interpreter, sampe graphic designer for simple events. Duit nya ngga gede sih, but it’s always there.
Justru ketika gue lagi usaha nyari kerjaan, I’ve never found any opened doors. Dulu sempet iseng-iseng apply service di karir.com dan jobsdb.com. Ada banyak positions yang cocok dengan requirements gue, but funny, ketika di followup, ngga satu pun berhasil ketembus. That’s why then I gave up on searching jobs.
Some would consider such thought to be lame excuses, ngebela diri karena sebenernya males nyari kerjaan. Mungkin bener sih, I can’t deny that. Tapi kalo dipikir-pikir lagi those past projects yang gue dapet lewat by chances and accidents, uhm, kayaknya asumsi gue itu ngga terlalu salah juga deh. Bisa dianggap excuses, but bukan sesuatu yang salah. I think.
Either I’m wrong or not about it, that’s not the important. So sekarang ini gue mau kombinasiin dua-duanya. Sort of searching for job, but done passively. How? Iklan di blog. Hehehehe.. Here it goes.
A lovely tender multi-talented male, Peter Valentino aka True-Gossiper, is searching for an appropriate job.
