Going to meet one of my fairies, either today or tomorrow. Really, gue ngerasa ngga tenang. Dunno what to expect to see.. Tadi gue nelpon doi buat nanya tentang plan ketemuannya, and agak-agak ngga nyaman ngobrol nya. Ngga tau knapa, and ini makin bikin gue kurang comfy, jadi kebayang somethings yang bakalan bikin kecewa.

Geez, what’s wrong with me, jadi pathetic begini..

But is it going to be full of new experiences? I hope so. Setelah lebih dari 20 tahun living in the this imperfect world, gue selalu ngalamin new crazy things every now and then.. so skarang wondering what other crazyness are waiting for me in the next few months.

Above all, gue tetep berpegang pada Future Perfect. I hope you’re out there and reading this..

My friends at the famous Friendster. Mostly are just people of face value, while some other are people I really would like to meet and know. ^^ However, I wonder what does the Friendster developer get from providing this service? Is this just a tactic, that the time people start to depend on (and love) them, the commercial registration fee fades in? But then, how many people will pay even $10 or even $5 a month just to get new friends? I know I won’t.

Btw, I do think that this fad of social networking will fade away. Perhaps not too soon, but surely it will come. A year? Two years? Somewhere in between, I guess. Let’s just see.

“The technology is easy to mimic and very straightforward. The issue is will the hype of trying to get all your friends to join wear out?” A flaw in many of the networks’ assumptions, he reckons, is that only a subset of one’s friends will ever join a social network site. And at a certain point the networks themselves become redundant. “Once I know you, it’s just as easy for me to contact you directly,” he says. “A social network is simply a directory.” In other words, Friendster’s obsolescence is built-in.
